Results of Q1 2026 for Octobank: growth, new solutions, and social initiatives
In the first quarter of 2026, Octobank significantly strengthened its market position. Against a backdrop of asset growth, the bank expanded its product line for businesses, scaled its social initiatives, and continued to develop its infrastructure. The bank consistently follows a model where financial products, digital services, and social responsibility form a single, integrated system.
Financial Results: Growth and Stability
Compared to the same period last year:
Assets increased to 15.5 trillion UZS (+281.4%).
Equity rose to 1.13 trillion UZS (+29.3%).
Net profit amounted to 108.7 billion UZS, maintaining stable dynamics.
The number of Octobank employees increased by 45.8%, reaching 465 people, serving as an additional driver for the bank's growth.
Market Position and SME Development
Octobank entered the top three strongest small banks in Uzbekistan according to the CERR (Center for Economic Research and Reforms) rating, which evaluates financial institutions across 27 key indicators, including liquidity, asset quality, and efficiency.
Supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) remains a top priority. In the first quarter, the bank launched a line of credit products with rates starting from 21%:
— Octo-Auto
— Octo-Invest
— Octo-Turnover
These financial offerings allow entrepreneurs to address key challenges—from upgrading vehicle fleets to investing in fixed assets and replenishing working capital. Additionally, customers now have access to a convenient tool for international settlements: fast transfers from Russia via the Olmapay service, with funds credited on the day of sending.
Social Initiatives: Systemic Support and Charity
The social agenda is an integral part of Octobank's strategy, realized through specific projects.
In March, the bank acted as the general partner for Navruz festivities, creating a large-scale city event titled "3 Times Tastier," which brought together over 20,000 residents and guests of the capital.
In collaboration with the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department, the bank organized a heartfelt campaign: 1,000 red roses were presented to mothers, grandmothers, and women driving cars, riding buses, or walking on the streets.
As part of the "Interviews with Women Entrepreneurs" media project, the bank provided support to the participants' families by supplying necessary household appliances.
A long-standing tradition continues with the support of the Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Pediatric Oncology, Hematology, and Immunology. During the holy days of Ramadan Hayit, the bank donated modern medical equipment to the clinic, with the next delivery scheduled for May.
Work continues under the "Mahalla Banker" project in the Shaykhantakhur district, assisting residents with financial issues and employment. Furthermore, the bank systematically works with youth; operational department employees conduct training sessions on financial literacy every Thursday as part of the "Youth Day" initiative.
Expanding the Network and Increasing Accessibility
Since the beginning of the year, Octobank has opened two new service points in Tashkent:
FOOD MALL (6 Shahrisabz Passage)
Ecobazar Chimgan (3A Temur Malik St.)
Choosing high-traffic locations makes banking services more accessible and convenient for customers in their daily urban lives. Additionally, Octobank ATMs were installed at the Center of Islamic Civilization, one of the country's largest cultural and educational complexes. These units support currency exchange, cash withdrawals, card top-ups, and international card operations.
"We are witnessing a shift in the bank's role - from a service provider to a full-fledged partner. Our task is not just to grow faster, but to work systematically with every segment of society, understanding their needs and improving the quality of our products. We are creating an environment where clients can achieve their goals, and we support them every step of the way," noted Iskandar Tursunov, Chairman of the Board of Octobank.
