Joint Stock Company "Octobank" was founded in June 2001. On June 23, 2001, the Bank received license No. 70, giving the right to carry out banking operations.
Since November 2002, the Bank has been a member of the Fund for Guaranteeing Citizens' Deposits in Banks of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a member of the Tashkent Stock Exchange, and also a member of the Association of Banks of Uzbekistan.

One of the priority areas of the bank's strategic development program for the next 5 years is the expansion of infrastructure by opening new branches and mini-banks.
The implementation of the infrastructure expansion program will allow the bank to ensure stable growth in the scale of its activities. At the same time, the bank will focus on financing small businesses and private entrepreneurship.
