Personnel policy
The personnel management system requires new solutions to develop the abilities of banking specialists and intensify their work activities, their assimilation of innovative technologies, and increased powers and responsibility. The main goals of the bank's personnel policy are to provide highly qualified personnel and form a leading team. To ensure these goals, the bank performs the following tasks:
Providing highly qualified employees:
• studying the demand for employees, forecasting, creating a system for selecting employees;
• formation of a reserve, planning for promotion of employees by job rank;
• professional training of employees.
Improving the motivation system:
•encouragement and promotion of employees who contribute to the development of the bank;
• optimization of the bank's structure, increasing the level of methodological work;
• development of a strategy for working with employees.
Development of corporate culture:
• providing employees with information to increase the corporate culture of a comprehensive program;
• improvement of the social and psychological environment of the bank.
Optimization of personnel policy and improvement of its mechanisms is directly related to the high-quality and effective implementation of the activities of each employee, improvement of work activity, advanced training, as well as the formation of a reserve of management personnel.
During 2017, a number of works were carried out to work with personnel. In particular, during 2017, a commission organized for the purpose of selecting highly qualified personnel, forming an advanced team and recruiting young specialists-graduates of educational institutions in the banking and financial sector selected 11 young specialists with secondary specialized and higher education.
The main objectives of Octobank JSC in implementing its personnel policy are to provide highly qualified personnel, develop a motivation system and corporate culture. The bank paid special attention to attracting young specialists from among graduates of the Tashkent Financial Institute, Tashkent State Economic University and other higher educational institutions.
In order to select highly qualified personnel and form a leading team, in 2017 the bank provided jobs to 20 young specialists with higher and secondary specialized education.
In order to improve the knowledge of banking personnel at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Banking and Finance Academy, the Regional Banking Training Center, the Center for Initiating Syndicated Lending, the National Center for Training of Securities Market Specialists, the International Financial and Economic Center for Development of Uzbekistan and other educational institutions Currently, 24 bank employees have been trained at the institutions. At the same time, another 11 employees are studying at various higher educational institutions.
Today, all conditions have been created for staff to work in the bank’s system; a system for organizing recreation during vacations and restoring health has been thought out. Effective social support is provided on the basis of a social contract signed between the employer, staff and the trade union committee.

Chief Specialist of Retail Lending Department
