Apple Pay is now available in Uzbekistan for the first time — and Octobank customers can start using it right away. Visa, Mastercard, and HUMO cards can be added to the Apple Wallet digital wallet to pay in stores and online. What does this mean for customers? You can now make payments directly from your familiar Apple devices — in stores using an iPhone or Apple Watch, and online using an iPad or Mac.
How It Works:
To start using Apple Pay, simply add your Octobank card to Apple Wallet. When paying, there is no need to manually enter card details — just confirm the transaction on your device using Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode.
Customer card data remains fully protected: when added to Apple Wallet, a unique device-specific number (token) is created. The actual card details are never shared with the merchant during a payment.
