Octobank to Make ATMs Smarter — in Partnership with BS/2
Octobank signed a memorandum of cooperation with the international fintech company BS/2, which supports banks worldwide in deploying modern ATMs and self-service systems. The signing took place during the PLUS Forum held in Tashkent on May 28–29, 2025. The document was signed by Rustam Rafikov, Managing Director and Head of Retail at Octobank, and Idrakas D., CEO of BS/2.
The two companies plan to jointly develop Octobank’s ATM and self-service terminal network: the functionality of devices will expand, and using them will become easier and more convenient.
What will change:
The ATM network will be modernized through an increased share of devices that not only dispense but also accept cash;
Paying for services, topping up accounts, and exchanging currency will become even more convenient;
ATMs will become more reliable thanks to remote monitoring and intelligent cash management systems;
Security levels will be enhanced — ATM access will be protected by electronic locks and one-time codes.
The agreement is signed for a three-year term.
